ADDESTRAMENTO CANE parte 1

EDUCHIAMO IL NOSTRO AMICO A QUATTRO ZAMPE (Parte 1)

Ecco alcuni consigli pratici e semplici per educare il nostro cane e divertirci con lui senza stress:

1. Quando iniziate le prime fasi dell'addestramento con il vostro cane, soprattutto se cucciolo, usate un gioco alla volta. Gli altri giochi vanno messi via e non devono rimanere a disposizione del cane. In tal modo capirà che siete voi a condurre il gioco...

2. Ricordate che fino all'anno di età è bene evitare di far fare grandi salti al vostro cane perchè lo sviluppo scheletrico non è ancora completato.

3. Se il cane abbaia senza motivo, per farlo smettere,  lo tocco leggermente con la mano o la gamba  e dico semplicemente "Shhh". Ciò equivale a distrarlo e a far quindi cessare un comportamento indesiderato.

4.  Mai sgridare il cane chiamandolo per nome, altrimenti assocerà il suo nome a una situazione di stress o ad una punizione e quando lo chiameremo per farlo avvicinare o ritornare da noi non verrà.

5.Utilizzare sempre un rinforzo positivo quando il cane si comporta in modo corretto, dicendogli "Bravo!", "Bravissimo!". Questo lo farà sentire appagato e si fiderà di noi.

6. Per abituarlo a rispondere al richiamo, inizialmente si può usare un croccantino come premio. Se il cane non viene da noi, lo tocco e lo richiamo un'altra volta. Ricordate che è il cane che deve venire da voi, NON voi che andate da lui.

When you start the first stages of training with your dog, especially a puppy, use one game at a time. The other games must be put away and must not remain available to the dog. In this way your dog will understand that you are the leader of the game ...2. Remember that until one year of age your dog had better  avoid jumping high  because his/her skeletal development is not yet completed.3. If your dog barks without any reason, in order to make it stop, touch him/her  gently with your hand or leg and  simply say "Shhh". This will distract him/her  thus causing unwanted behavior to cease.4. Never call your dog by his/her name to tell him/her off, otherwise he/she will associate his/her name with a stressful situation or a punishment and when you  call him/her back to you he may not come.5. Always use a positive reinforcement when the dog behaves correctly, saying "Good job!", "Good girl/boy!". This will make him/her feel satisfied and happy and he /she will trust you.6. In order to teach your dog his/her name so that he /she will come when you call him/her, you can use a treat as a reward, to start with. If the dog does not come to us,  touch him/her gently and call him/her  again. Remember that  the dog  has to come to you, NOT the other way round.
